I picked up November issue of Meridian magazine from the Tea Rooms in Greenwich Park a couple of weeks ago and am equally impressed with the Meridian web site. Living in East Greenwich I have a particular interest in the Millennium development and traffic volumes and noise and have found Meridian a good source of information. Keep up the good work. re: increased traffic I have a particular interest in the I have found your pages

Very Good Site, I particularly like the countdown to the year 2000. It would be good if you could update it every second, till the year 2000 arrives.

Hopefully this site will be updated in the future to include the fact that the production of HAMLET at GREENWICH THEATRE sold out and the forthcoming production of HUCKELBERRY FINN should do the same. Make sure you book your tickets quick. It would be criminal to miss out on the best FAMILY show this Christmas.

As you have missed it out of your list of watering holes, I had to put a word in for the "Plume of Feathers" IMHO the best "Pub" in Greenwich, just along from the museum and next to the park.P.S. What is happening to the Foreshore Tunnel bypass? I hope it doesn't crash into the DLR extension or any other of Greenwich's crazy plans

My brother Ken, who lives in Vancouver, Canada, told me about this site. He found it when he was surfing to try and find out more info about the area as we are planning to buy a flat in Docklands quite close to Greenwich. The info we have got here will be very useful. We hope we enjoy exploring the place as much as the website!

this is a top site. i will come again and tell all my friends.however, you fail to highlight the top salmonella style restaurant in the whole of south east london - The Pier Fish Bar.Take one look in through the window (if you can see through the grease) and witness the most hideous display of food hygiene law flouting since the Jones affair. Let's start taking bets on how many tourists will die in the first few hours of the millennium celebrations as they leave the pubs and head for the chippie...It will be ugly, but you have been warned.A sufferer in 1982 myself from eating CHIPS - that well known source of food poisioning.Eat less protein.Deathie
